Frequently asked questions
Do you work with students who have IEPs or 504 plans?
Yes! Many of our tutors are certified ESE (Exceptional Student Education) teachers, and all of our staff have extensive experience working with students who have learning differences. We individualize our instruction to meet each child’s unique goals and accommodations.
Do you work with students with ADHD, autism, or those on the spectrum?
Absolutely. We proudly support neurodiverse learners. We have teachers that are ASD-certified and have specialized training in attention, behavioral, and sensory supports. Our sessions are structured, flexible, and designed to help every student succeed in a calm, encouraging environment.
Do you require families to sign a contract?
No. Our tutoring is offered on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitment required. If you decide to pause or unenroll at the end of a month, simply let us know, and we’ll remove your child from the schedule. We believe in flexibility and want families to continue with us because they see results — not because they’re locked into a contract.
How do payments work?
We invoice monthly on the 1st of each month based on your selected tuition program. Families have two convenient payment options:
Pay in full on the 1st of the month, or
Split the payment into two installments
We accept all major debit and credit cards, making payment quick and convenient. This flexible structure helps families manage tuition easily while keeping learning consistent.
What grade levels do you serve?
We currently offer tutoring for students in grades K–12 across all core subjects — reading, writing, math, science, and social studies — as well as homework help and test preparation.
Who provides the tutoring?
All sessions are led by certified teachers with classroom experience. Our tutors specialize in helping students build confidence, close learning gaps, and reach academic goals through personalized instruction.
Do you offer group or one-on-one sessions?
Yes! Families can choose between small-group tutoring for collaboration and motivation or individual sessions for more intensive, personalized support. We can also create a custom learning plan that allows students to have a mix of both, ensuring they benefit from individualized instruction while still enjoying the social and academic advantages of group learning.
Where are you located?
We have two convenient Palm Beach County locations — one in Boynton Beach near the Boynton Beach Mall and another in Lake Park on Park Avenue above Kelsey Vintage.
📍 Boynton Beach: 1101 N Congress Ave, Suite 203
Boynton Beach, FL 33426
📍 Lake Park: 748 Park Avenue, Suite G
Lake Park, FL 33403
Do you provide after-school pick-up?
Yes! We offer courtesy transportation at our Boynton Beach office from select local schools in the area. This service helps families save time and ensures students arrive safely and on time for their tutoring sessions.
How do you care for students with medical needs?
We have a licensed nurse on staff who works closely with families to ensure every child’s safety and well-being. During the sign-up process, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with our nurse in person to discuss your child’s needs and create a plan of care. Our nurse can dispense medication as needed and also provide telehealth support if required.
In the event of an emergency situation in our office, we will immediately call 911 and follow all established safety protocols.
What are your tutoring hours?
Our hours vary by location. Most tutoring takes place after the typical school day, when students are available for after-school sessions. However, we also offer daytime hours for homeschool students and families with flexible schedules. Please contact us for the current schedule at your preferred location.
Do you accept scholarships such as Step Up for Students?
Yes! Sanders Elite Tutoring proudly accepts Step Up for Students scholarships, as a direct pay provider including FTC, FES-UA, and PEP. These scholarships can help cover the cost of tutoring and homeschool programs. Our staff can assist families in navigating the EMA portal and ensuring their funds are applied correctly.
Do you offer virtual tutoring options?
Yes, we do! In addition to in-person sessions at our Lake Park and Boynton Beach offices, we offer virtual tutoring through secure, interactive platforms. Online sessions are led by the same certified teachers who tutor in person, making it a convenient option for families with busy schedules or students who learn best from home.
What is your make-up policy if classes are missed?
We understand that things come up! We offer make-up sessions as needed to ensure students don’t miss valuable learning time when emergencies or scheduling conflicts arise. We kindly ask that families provide proper notice so we can plan accordingly.
While we can’t guarantee that a make-up class will be with the same teacher or peer group, we always do our best to make scheduling easy and flexible so your child stays on track.
